I am so proud of my husband that I am writing a post all about him! His hobby is music, he normally plays the trombone, but recently he found a new hobby: playing the bombardon. It is a real old instrument that they don't even make anymore. Together with a friend, they started searching these old instruments via ebay and some other second-hand sites and they came up with eight of these bombardons. Some other musical friends also were very interested and together they formed an octet: Bluts!
A few weeks ago they gave their first concert. And this didn't happen without attention from the media. Apparently, people find this really unique and an article for the newspaper was written. Then an appearance in a radio show followed and tomorrow they are coming on television!
Yes, yes, tomorrow evening (the 31st of December) they are going to perform in a popular talkshow 'De laatste show'. The recordings were on Friday and it was really lots of fun. My husband even was interviewed and the group got to play three songs, accompanying the fireworks! So if you live in Belgium or in the Netherlands, tomorrow evening on VRT, De laatste show!

Wat grappig zeg, dan hebben wij je man op de laatste show gezien!! Samen met het vuurwerk vond ik Bluts het boeiendste aan die aflevering, eerlijk gezegd viel de rest van de laatste show die avond een beetje tegen... Dankzij je commentaar op mijn blog ontdek ik nu met veel plezier de jouwe en ik kom zeker een keer meer langs!
