Yoga bag and toilet bag

This is a hello and a goodbye, tomorrow we are flying to the sun, to Fuerteventura. Summer here is chilly and rainy, so we are looking forward to finally get our doses of sun!

But this bad weather also has an advantage, I have lots of time to do some crafty things. These two things I wanted to show you. The first one is a yoga bag, I used the Nigella yoga bag pattern from Amy Butler. I must admit that I was a little anxious, because I am not a good sewer at all, but with some blood, sweat and tears, I finally managed it! I am very proud of it. In September I'm starting power yoga classes and now I can take my yoga mat in this beautiful handmade yoga bag! Ah, seeing the picture already makes me smile!

Then I also did some more crocheting and made this toilet bag. It's lined with pink fabric and I am certain that my daughter will demand it to be hers!
